What is Your Pelvic Diaphragm? The "Sling Thing" They Always Talk About

If you have wondered what the "pelvic diaphragm" or "sling" that books refer to, here is a video by the same excellent youtube poster about nerves

The content covers the muscles that become the levator ani consisting of the puborectalis, the pubococcygygeus, and the illiococcygeus and the coccygeus.  Although not technically part of the pelvic diaphragm, he addresses the location of the piriformis muscle.

Note that his first few minutes are somewhat blurry and then it becomes focused. 7 minutes.
